Scales aims to teach a system for reading mamograms through repetition. Familiarity with normal variations will be obtained.

This section starts out with one method, the 6/6 scale, that may be used for examining any mammogram. Details of this system follow on pages 1 and 2.

A series of normal variants is then illustrated, providing both an opportunity for practicing the reading method and familiarity with a variety of common appearances.
