Peau d'orange. Lymphatic  infiltration of breast carcinoma leads to dermal edema from impaired drainage. In such cases, punctate depressions from hair follicles make the breast skin texture appear like that of an orange.

   

A variety of normal and abnormal mammograms follow, allowing the user to practice identifying and describing a range of abnormalities and normal variants.

This section is graded in an analogous fashion to musical pieces. Grade 1 (beginner level) tests ability to detect and describe the abnormality, perhaps comparable to playing Chopin's Chopsticks. The subtlety of findings increases through the grade until Grade 4 (advanced level) where the skill of the interpreter could be seen as matching that of the orchestra tackling Beethoven's 5th symphony in order to correctly identify the abnormalities.
